Country people told stories of fairies as beautiful enchantress, defensive warriors, keepers of treasures and wisdom. Fairy stories emerged centuries ago and had been constantly evolving and changing forms as man continuously adapted them. It then became part of human culture. It has greatly influence their beliefs and impacts their way of life. Some believed on the basis of experiential evidence. They even offered personal accounts of experiences with the supernatural. Religious explanations assumed fairies were the fallen angels. Fairies appear in world traditions under different names but exhibits similar characteristics and nature. They remained as a great source of wonder and disbelief in the modern society practically referred to as folk tales to entertain children where the rituals used to attract them are as fascinating as the wonders of their origin and existence.
