Fairies were believed to live in a bright and sunny meadow often the slope of a large and gently rounded hill. They were observed to dance and play within the area. The other place is called as underworld or some other magical dimensions. Underworld is a place filled with brightly illuminated and lavishly decorated caverns that are located beneath the surface of the earth. Fine houses and elegantly designed dining halls are the common things that one gets to see in these places. Fairyland portals are often low and grass covered hills which said to open up like great doors to allow passage of the fairy host. At times they ride on their miniature horses into the slope and disappear.
