Sightings of fairies occur in the 15th and 18th century. Mostly were sighted in Northern Europe. Fairies occupied an ambiguous supernatural zone that gave no clear sense of their origin and moral stature. Recent sightings were usually stories of white ladies even in Asia. They were not photographed and evidences were just plain reports on sightings. 

Cressie monster was believed to be haunting the placid cold and deep Lake Crescent (Radford & Nickell 2006). Lake Crescent is allegedly home of the mysterious creatures described as the pond devil and the swimming demon. Cressie was never verified and photographed. All the evidences gathered came from eyewitness sightings and reports. Legend says that it was created by the god of Storm King. He hurled a gigantic boulder between the fighting tribes of Klallam and Quileute. The warriors were killed and peace reigned at Lake Crescent. Crescent Lake was located 400 km. West of St. John, Newfoundland.

Ann Arbor, Michigan residents has been experiencing fairies along with tiny doors popping up around town (Sachs 2006). Numbers already reached up to twenty as of todate. Jonathan Wright first discovered one of the six inch doors in 1993. Another was uncovered in their miniature fireplace. The fame has been spreading and Washington Post has been covering their arrival. 

Bethel is an old colonial town in Western Connecticut that has many areas of reported ongoing unknown haunting (Connecticut’s). Bethel High School was nicknamed as Suicide High. Students and employees committed suicide most of the time at the school property. Sometimes they killed themselves somewhere in town. There had been reported apparitions of a white lady or a man on two floors of the building. There were sightings reported on the school grounds also.

Staff complained about strange voices and unexplained sightings in Southern Water’s wastewater plant in Prince William Parade, Eastborne (Wymark 2008). Mark Wey called a paranormal investigator because the place is giving people the creeps. They feel uneasy the moment they enter the building while the hairs at the back of their neck go up. There were lots of unexplained instances that were of frequent occurrence. 

Aaron, 35, USA took a few pictures of a nearby creek at one of his trips in southern Oregon. The pictures were taken a few years ago while Aaron and his friends were riding ATV’s in the woods. He noticed a couple of fairies flying in some of the pictures he thought to be of poor quality (Fairy n.y.). This is the most recent report in the Fairy Gardens. 

 

Los Rios Street is one of the oldest residential streets still in existence in California (Los Rios n.y.). A black haired white lady was reported appearing from nowhere. She tends to appear out of a big cloud of white fog at time bringing her big black dog. She usually appears from the large pepper tree along the street. This sighting has been consistent for 90 years. 

The prison of Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay was opened in 1933. It was created as a maximum security facility for the most dangerous criminals in the US. It was the toughest federal penitentiaries and the most haunted in the nation. Visitors and staff hear every now and then sounds of men’s cries, screams, whistles and clanging metal doors (The ghost n.y.). Their extraordinary experiences include terrible smells, hearing sobs and moans and seeing what they called as “the thing” with glowing eyes. Other sightings consist of phantom prisoners and soldiers. Warden Johnston once heard a woman sobbing while leading he was leading the tour. The number of guest that was with him also heard the cries. The cries seem to come from inside the walls of the dungeon. An icy cold wind blew through the group when it stopped.
